I trained as a theatre director at London's Drama Centre and worked in the theatre in London and Vienna, before going on to study film at the National Film and Television School. It is this grounding that has led me to seek out stories with a human core, sharing intimate moments with unique, compelling characters. I have always sought to find a sense of the poetic in reality, to tell stories that shine a light onto uncertainty and inspire audiences to look beyond their own horizons.

We have recently finished a festival run for The Day we danced on the Moon, a creative documentary about a reggae band of mental health patients, on tour to the West coast of Ireland. The film was a finalist for the Berlin Today Award and was shown at a number of international film festivals including Berlinale, Sheffield Doc Fest and Hotdocs, as well as winning Shooting People's online film award, as judged by Nicolas Philibert. We are now developing a longer film on the same theme, Peter and the Spacemen, about a search for hope after a life struggling with paranoid schizophrenia.
